Our Brewmaster, Sam, brings a unique blend of experience, curiosity, and serious passion for the science behind great beer. She joined us by way of Grand Canyon Brewing + Distillery after spending eight years as a winemaker in Oregon, North Carolina, and Arizona. Nearly two years ago, she made the jump from wine to beer and hasn't looked back.

Since joining our team, Sam has helped elevate nearly every part of our brewing process—from dialing in water chemistry for specific beer styles to improving temperature control, fermentation, and brewing techniques. Her attention to detail and constant drive to refine the process are helping us produce some of our most consistent and flavorful beer yet.
