I started learning to play guitar on my own when I was 13, after moving from Port Arthur, Texas to a very rural Brookeland, Texas. I found comfort in singing and playing guitar during this turbulent time in my life and within a year, I was writing songs and performing at events across East Texas. While country music shaped my early days of performing, I was heavily influenced by the raw energy of rock - especially The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and the grunge sounds of the '90s.

Jordan Hasto originates from Philly and took the soul influences from there, with him to Austin. Whether it's Jimmy Page on guitar, John Mayer for songwriting, or Marvin Gaye's voice, he uses these diverse influences to create his own sound. His originals typically have a deeper meaning than your average song and he hopes to give a lasting impression!

Texas songwriter and Americana artist Matthew Payne grew up in the beautiful hill country surrounding Dripping Springs, and loved every minute of his two decades as an educator of English and Creative Writing in Austin public schools. The ten songs that make up the "Better Times" debut (2026) tell stories of conflicted characters at their brink, looking for a way forward, trying to carve it out, trying to make something better, trying to believe that "better times come from these."

Brian Wolff is a guitarist, singer, songwriter and podcaster based in Austin, Texas. Wolff's musical style draws influence heavily from Classic Rock, 90's Alternative, and Blues. His hard-hitting playing style has been described as "tasteful, yet aggressive." He led the band Fair City Fire for 7 years as they produced two LPs and embarked on five national tours. When the band split during the pandemic, Wolff narrowed his focus on writing songs and moving forward as a solo artist.

Ryan DeSiato (Deh-See-auto) is a singer, songwriter, producer and guitarist from Austin, Texas. His hallmark style is a mixture of modern singer songwriter rock, world music, folk and improvisation. This blending of musical style has earned him the moniker 'Neo Singer Songwriter' to help define his multifaceted genre of music.

Ryan works in many capacities with other Austin artists and regional Texas acts as well as performing live solo shows and playing with a rotating cast of world-class band mates. Over the course of his career Ryan performed both nationally and internationally.

Tim and the Turmoil was formed in 2024 by Austin band veterans now living in Bastrop. Although the members – drummer Brian Ellison (Steers, The Great Curve), bassist Jason Krohmer (Red McFunk, Wyldwood Road Band), lead guitarist Jeff Garrard (Lucky Velour, Mudbone Hustler), and singer/guitarist Tim Wilkins (The Leisure Class, Louder Shrine) – have played in many genres, Tim and the Turmoil is inspired by the straight-ahead rock and roll of the 1980s and 1990s – crunchy guitars, propulsive bass, potent drums.
